Golf Course Description

Wedgefield Plantation is located at the southern tip of the Grand Strand on what was once a flourishing rice plantation, astride the Black River in historic Georgetown. Our fairways wind through magnolias, dogwoods, century-old moss draped oaks, camellias, azaleas and a wide variety of wild flowers. Wildlife abounds in this environmental correct, typically "Old South", beautiful and challenging golf course, complete with exemplary southern hospitality. Recognized in GolfWeek's America's Best as one of the top 50 golf courses in South Carolina for 1994, it is often referred to as "the jewel at the end of a strand of pearls", Wedgefield golf course may well be "your best drive."
