I played this course today 6-2-14, by far the absolute worst course I have ever seen, the majority of the greens were in deplorable condition tee boxes were in need of a lot of help, fairways were not in good condition. We brought our concerns to the course super. he said he was sorry and offered a rain check, we didn't feel it was worth the time to drive up from North Myrtle Beach, will NEVER play there again

New Ownership
I was formally a member of this club until it closed in 2010. Since it's reopening 2 years ago, I have not had the opportunity to play.

Based on the locals who have played it, I am getting good reviews. It does take time for a course to recover that was closed for 2 years and then re-opened. There are improvements that are still needed but I hear the new owners are doing a remarkable job.

The course is tight. It is totally target and distance control with water on 17 of 18 holes. Both the opening and closing holes are along the intra-coastal waterway --- what a way to start and end a round.

There are some risk reward holes, but your game better be sharp. Margin for error is minimal.

I am planning on playing there in the next couple of weeks and will update my review then...

Look for somewhere else
Played this course on 4/12/2013 and it was terrible, terrible, terrible. Don't waste your time or money look somewhere else. Will never play this one again.
