Below is the 2010 Myrtle Beach Golf Course Aerification
Schedule for all of the courses along the Grand Strand. The dates are tentative and can be changed anytime by the golf course without notice. Aerification is necessary for golf courses for three simple reasons.
It relieves the compact soil from golfers foot prints to promote growth in the root structure. Secondly, it improves the mixture of soils by allowing oxygen to the root system, sand and soil. Third it reduces the accumulation of excess thatch.
