WEB UPDATE: Welcome to our BRAND NEW Myrtle Beach Golf website!

Wednesday, May 4th, 2011

NorthMyrtleBeachGolf.com just got a top-to-bottom renovation, adding new features, new content, and a brand new look! We want to be the best site out there for Myrtle Beach golf! Let’s take a tour, shall we?!

After several months of re-design, user testing, trend analysis and other techy computer related terms, we present the new NorthMyrtleBeachGolf.com. Some new features include an instant tee time quote, updates to current course conditions, video gallery, photo gallery, extended vacation rental inventory and search, and plenty more.

Instant Golf Tee Times Quote

Instant Golf Tee Times Quote

Instant Tee Time Quote

Couldn’t be easier! We devised a system that (hopefully) is as simple as a few clicks to get a quote for “A Le Carte” tee times! Simply select the golf courses you want to play, then select the date and time, then the totals update INSTANTLY.  That’s right, we give you the price right then and there. Green fees, cart fees and everything included. The price you see is what you pay.  If you like the prices, excellent! Just fill out your info and send in the form. We then contact you with the info to book!   It’s one of the simplest Myrtle Beach golf quote systems you will use, we promise. Check out the Instant Golf Quote System.

Golf Course Video & Photo Gallery

Over 70 Myrtle Beach Golf Course videos, all in one spot and photos of all the courses we offer! Sure, we made it easy to use. Just click on the one you are interested in and watch! Doesn’t get much better than that, you know. Take a minute to relax and watch a few golf course videos, then you can check out the photos of golf courses too!

Maintenance List

Those who know golf know when to play and NOT to play during the maintenance periods. Well, as soon as we get the news of golf course maintenance, aerification, overseeding or anything else, we update it for you so you can stay on top of the game when it comes to knowing when to stay away from your favorite golf course!

Plenty More

Yes! Plenty more. Need driving directions from your condo or golf course? What about choosing a restaurant to eat at, or even learn about the golf course architects? Maybe you want to vote in our fun poll? No?  Of course, you can always view the many Myrtle Beach golf accommodations we offer and pick from the golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area as well.

We have broken down the accommodations sections, as well as the courses, into the different areas of the Grand Strand. We hope it will make your selections a bit easier.

Long Bay Golf Club and The Champions Golf Academy

Sunday, September 21st, 2008

I was invited to play the Long Bay Club by the Myrtle Beach National Company to play last week. My first visit since I played there in July. The golf course was again in excellent shape and the greens were lighting fast.

I was also taken on a tour, of former PGA Tour player, Mr. Hugh Royer III, Champions Golf Academy.

The Academy which opened in 2006, is fully operational with a state-of-the-art learning center that includes three private teaching bays equipped with the V-1 Digital Coaching System, short and long game areas, relaxing lounge, extensive club fitting technology and its own fitness center and driving range.

I did happen to find my web album from when I played the Long Bay Club in February for the North Myrtle Beach High School Band Fundraiser Golf Tournament, that also help raise $5000 for the local high school band scholarships.

I would like to send a special thanks to the Myrtle Beach National Company, to the staff at The Long Bay Club, and to The Champions Golf Academy @ Long Bay Club.

18th Hole

This was the second time I got to play this course. The first was the Golf Directors back in January when it was cold and the course had no leaves on the trees. Playing the course six months later, the course was in great shape and has grown in great! Designed by former Gary Player led architect Thomas Walker, the New Founders Club had a $7 million renovation and a name change, formally known as Sea Gull Golf Club, which was one of the oldest golf courses in Myrtle Beach.

You can view the “18 HOLES IN 18 DAYS” presented by the Classic Golf Group and Founders Club. The preview of all 18 holes were released the final 18 days before the Grand Opening, Febuary 1, 2008.

North Myrtle Beach Golf.com has added, The New Founders Club @ Pawleys Island to the, Classic Golf Packages and the Supreme Golf Package.
