Mel Graham

Golf course designer Graham designed the World Tour course

Melvin F. Graham, the nephew of well-known evangelist Billy Graham, is a fixture in the Carolinas. In 1978, he founded Graham Enterprises which has gone on to become one of the leading real estate and development firms in the Carolinas. While serving as the chairman and CEO of the company, Graham has learned to specialize in golf courses, residential communities and commercial development.

One of the creations of Mel Graham is a truly unique golfing experience called International World Tour Golf Links, which is possibly the most unique golf course ever created and a must for any golfer who wants to play the great golf course holes of the world without having to travel 20,000 miles to do so.

The International World Tour Golf Links takes golfers through all the great golf courses in the world, all without having to fly anywhere but Myrtle Beach. The holes are inspired by a wide variety of golf courses, including Winged Foot, St. Andrews, Augusta National's Amen Corner and Pine Valley. This is easily the most unique and unusual golf experience on the Grand Strand, but one that you must try out. Mel Graham spent several years working and studying all the courses that would eventually have a hole mirrored on this course to ensure it would fit into the surroundings of Myrtle Beach and not seem out of place at all. He has succeeded and has created a favorite of golfers in Myrtle Beach. Featuring 27 holes from around the world, it is a golf course to truly experience. As well, it is routinely selected as one of the top 10 courses in Myrtle Beach and in 2004 it was the National Golf Course of the Year, making it a welcomed addition to Myrtle Beach golf.

Mel Graham can be described as more of a businessman than a golf architect, but he has helped to create the most unique golf course in Myrtle Beach. To play all these holes, a golfer would have to spend thousands of dollars and fly around 20,000 miles to do so. However, with World Tour they can fly to Myrtle Beach and play all those courses in a day or two, and save thousands in the process. It is the next best thing to playing the actual holes when you play World Tour Golf Links.
