Kids play FREE at participating Myrtle Beach Golf Courses
Before we get started, it's important to note that the golf courses which allow kids to play free, will only allow 1 junior to play free, per paying adult. Kids are allowed to play free all year round, unless specified otherwise.
Summer is a wonderful time to be a junior golfer in Myrtle Beach. This summer, in particular, is especially wonderful for juniors who love to play golf. Children can play free when accompanied by a paying adult at more than 45 courses in the Myrtle Beach area this summer as part of the nationwide "Kids Play Free" golf program, Additionally, Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday has organized another Summer Family Golf Tournament series, aimed at families who golf together or would like to start, for the 2012 summer season.
The "Kids Play Free" program in Myrtle Beach is the biggest in the nation and includes 27 four-star or higher rated courses. Children 16 or younger have a unique opportunity to try out some of the top courses in the nation. Courses welcoming children as part of the program include the creations of golf course design legends Robert T. Jones, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Pete and P.B. Dye, and Dan Maples.
