Although the great eagle is gone from Eagle Nest golf course, the birdies live on at this very popular North Myrtle Beach course. Eagle Nest has all the beauty of a South Carolina resort course, with tall pines along the fairways and gently rolling terrain. But Gene Hamm's design is the real beauty!
Hamm started with a straight-away par five, followed by a par four dogleg right to warm you up. The big finale is the three most challenging finishing holes on the Grand Strand. The locals know them as Tough, Almost as Tough, and Lord Help Me Over the Water. With the right mixture of hard and easy holes, Eagle Nest is a fun course with interesting and entertaining play.

The Valentine’s Day Massacre at the Dye Club once again lived up to its reputation. Check out my first hand look as a player.
Grand Strand. The mini-verde grass that is now on the greens really putts great. The Nest is an older course that has upgraded itself. The last 3 holes are as good as any finish on the strand. If you havn't played Eagles Nest recently, it is well worth a visit. Great Greens!
Staff was friendly and helpful
weeks. Good condition and fair challenge for an
old guy from the yellows. Friends joining us next
week and we are planning to play here then.
The staff on Nov the 20th was very helpful
This was a fun course, I would recommend this course.
The Golf Course was in really good condition and is fairly open off the tee. A traditional layout tree lined with Carolina Pines. Greens are Mini Verde Bermuda and were in great shape considering the Summer we had in Myrtle Beach. With the Fall golf season approaching I expect them to get better and faster!!!
Eagle Nest is features four sets of tees from 6901 for the Championship Tees to 5105 from the red tees. Eagle Nest also features a driving range, fully stocked Pro Shop and Snack Bar.
Rates for Eagle Nest range from $51.00 per golfer to $31.00 per golfer includes greens fees, cart fees, taxes and fees.
Did You Know? Eagle Nest is one of five / eighteen hole courses in Myrtle Beach with a Par 3 as the 18th hole.
