Myrtle Beach Golf Vacation

Fall golf season is right around the corner and now is the best time to try to rally the troops to get out of town for a much needed golf vacation here along the Grand Strand.  After spending the summer with family of friends, we realize that finances may be tight.  If you read through the following information, I will give you a blueprint to save you and your group a ton of money.  What I am about to give you is the best budgeted plans for 3-night and 4-night stays which will include pricing for accommodations, golf,  and some of my favorite places to hit up for dinner and happy hour.

ACCOMMODATIONS

**All pricing includes all taxes and fees **

Malibu Pointe

This location has 1, 3, and 4-bedroom units.  The best value for 4 golfers would be to stay in a 3-bedroom/3-bathroom unit.  Bedding in most units includes 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 doubles.   Stay as low as $550 for a 3-night stay and $680 for a 4-night stay while enjoying flat screen TV’s, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, free WI-FI and a beautiful ocean view.  Other amenities include an indoor pool, outdoor pool, lazy river, and hot tub.

Bay Watch Resort

This location has 1, 2, and 3-bedroom oceanfront units.  The best value at this property is to stay in a 2-bedroom/2-bathroom condo that has 4 double beds.  Stay as low as $480 for a 3-night stay and $590 for a 4-night stay.  This property has 3 on-site restaurants,  indoor and outdoor lazy rivers, hot tubs, and swimming pools, game room, free WI-FI and fitness center.

Crescent Keyes

This resort has 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom units.  The 3-bedroom/2-bathroom units at this location give golfers an amazing ocean front view of the Atlantic Ocean.  The 3-bedroom units can be rented for as low as $630 for a 3-night stay or a 4-night stay for  $780.  This property offers a huge pool area, two oceanfront hot tubs, two lazy rivers, kiddie pool, and exercise facility.

At this point you have the information to handle your lodging and your golf… now comes the best part, happy hour and dinner in Myrtle Beach.  Here are some of my top choices:

HAPPY HOURS

Boardwalk Billy’s  This indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant provides a perfect place to unwind on inexpensive drinks, fresh seafood, sushi, and great wings, all while listening to live music while overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.

Flying Fish Public Market and Grill is located in the heart of Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach.  Click on the following link to see their Happy Hour menu.

Tee’d Off  This watering hole is centrally located, right off of Lake Arrowhead Road.  Not only do they have great food, there are plenty of games,  large flat-screen TV’s , and even a golf simulator.

DINING OPTIONS

Fire and Smoke is the a quaint spot located just off of Hwy 17 Business in Myrtle Beach.  Stopping here will be one of the best decisions you will ever make on vacation.  The plate portions are small but so is the price.  This will allow you to order multiple items from their amazing menu.  P.S. – You have to try the wood-grilled Caesar Salad.

Joe’s Bar and Grill offers one of the best atmospheres for dining on all of the Grand Strand.  Dining inside, on the porch, or overlooking the marsh will not be disappointing at this amazing restaurant.  Seafood and steaks are prepared to perfection.  Large groups can also rent this location for private parties and awards ceremonies.

New Your Prime Well, the name speaks for itself.  This company has never failed me at any location, and Myrtle Beach is no different.  If  award-winning steaks and seafood dishes are what you want, this is where you can get them.   Ask for Robert Powell, not only is he a great waiter but an avid golfer as well.

Thank you for taking the time to read through and discover some of the best deals and my favorite places to dine here in Myrtle Beach.  Just remember the more you save on golf and accommodations, the more you get to spend on great food and drinks.  Make sure you email us or call us to book your future golf trip!
